Connect Gong to Aithon

Bring call transcripts and participants into Aithon, where they become the richest evidence behind deal intelligence.

Last updated

Connecting Gong gives Aithon your call transcripts and participants, and they feed the Deal Intelligence tabs on every opportunity: summary, MEDDPICC with citations, recommended actions, stakeholders and conversations. The connection is read-only and organization-wide.

Prerequisites

  1. Gong access sufficient to authorize a data connector. The setup page lists what is needed; a Gong technical administrator is the usual choice.
  2. An active Aithon account.

Step 1: Open Integrations

Open the menu under your name at the bottom of the left sidebar and choose Integrations.

Step 2: Connect Gong

Find Gong in the list and click Connect. You are taken to a hosted setup page. Follow it to authorize the connector. When it completes you are returned to Aithon and the Gong card shows Connected.

What gets synced

Calls (identifier, link, start time, duration, owner), call participants, transcripts and users. Aithon does not pull audio recordings, and it does not import Gong's own AI output (highlights, key points, trackers, scorecards); it works from the transcript itself.

Two things happen on the way in:

  1. A call with no transcript is dropped. Aithon only keeps calls it can read.
  2. Gong's note-taking bot is removed from the participant list, so stakeholder maps show people, not recorders.

Call data lands on the opportunity the participants belong to, alongside email and CRM activity, and Deal Intelligence cites the transcript passages behind each conclusion.

How long it takes

New calls typically appear on a deal within a few hours of the transcript being ready in Gong.

Disconnecting

On the Integrations page, click Manage on the Gong card, then Disconnect. This removes the connection for your entire organization. Ask your Aithon contact if you also want previously synced calls removed.
