Your first week in Aithon

The path from first sign-in to first insight: connect your CRM and mailbox, pick your accounts, open a deal, read a lead brief, ask Aithon a question.

Last updated

Aithon is only as good as what it can read. The first week is about connecting sources, telling it which accounts matter, and then letting it work. Home is the Ask Aithon page: a greeting, a question box, and a few starter prompts. Until sources are connected there is little for it to answer, so start with the steps below.

Day one: an admin connects the CRM

Open Deal Intelligence in the sidebar. With nothing connected it shows two steps: connect your CRM, then connect a mailbox. Click Connect your CRM and pick Salesforce, HubSpot or Attio; the guides in the CRM section walk through each. Deals, stages and contacts appear as they sync, which can take a few hours for a large CRM.

Day one: everyone connects a mailbox

Each person connects their own mailbox from the Integrations page (the menu under your name, then Integrations): Gmail or Outlook, for intelligence, outreach, or both. Email is the evidence that turns a deal list into deal health, so the more of the team that connects, the better the picture. Add Google Calendar and Google Meet if you use them, and LinkedIn if you will run outreach.

Day two: decide which accounts matter

Aithon tracks a large universe of companies. Your organization's All Accounts is the slice you care about, and each seller's My Accounts is their own plate. If your CRM is connected, All Accounts starts as your CRM accounts. An admin can add target lists by CSV and assign accounts to sellers by territory; a seller can add any account in All Accounts to their plate with Add to my accounts. The account list guide covers the mechanics.

Day three: open a deal

Go to Deal Intelligence, open a deal, and click Generate insights. The first run reads the deal's emails and calls and produces the deal pulse, recommended next moves, risk signals, missing information and the MEDDPICC scorecard, every claim cited to the conversation it came from. After that first run Aithon keeps the deal fresh on its own.

Day four: read a lead brief

Open an account, then its Leads tab. Each lead is a use case Aithon believes the company has a need for, with a priority, a brief, evidence and sources. Read one end to end, then use Engage to see who to reach, prepare for the meeting, or create an opportunity.

Day five: ask Aithon

Back on the home page, ask something you would otherwise dig for: which deals need attention, what is happening at an account, what to say to a stakeholder. The answer is grounded in your own data and cites where it came from.

When you have a moment

Set your email signature under Settings so every draft Aithon writes for you carries it. Choose how you want to be notified on the Notifications page. Admins can review the privacy controls, which decide what categories of data the AI may use. And if you live in Claude or ChatGPT, connect Aithon there too.
