Export and share a lead brief

Turn a lead's narrative, evidence and scores into a one-page brief you can save as a PDF or email to a teammate.

The lead detail screen (Accounts, then a company, then Leads, then a use case) turns a lead's narrative, evidence and scores into a one-page brief you can save as a PDF or email to a teammate. The work you do in Aithon then travels into your deal reviews, CRM notes and hand-offs.

Where the button is

Open any lead's detail page. The Export button is in the top-right of the header.

Export stays disabled until the lead's content has finished loading. Once the briefing (or narrative) is on screen, the button becomes active and offers two choices: Download PDF and Email.

Download a PDF

  1. Click Export, then Download PDF.
  2. Your browser's print dialog opens. Choose Save as PDF (sometimes labelled "Microsoft Print to PDF" or "Save to PDF") as the destination, then Save.
  3. The saved file is named for the company and use case, for example acme-corp-payments-modernization-lead-brief-2026-07-16.pdf.

The PDF contains only the brief itself: the company and use case with its priority band, the recommended opening, summary, the opportunity, evidence bullets, the "why now" catalyst, Signal Analysis (the Need and Timing assessments with the reasoning behind each), then, where Aithon has them, the hyperscaler signals, competitive intent, hiring signal and recommended stakeholders, and a numbered Sources list. The app's navigation and controls are left out.

Every inline citation superscript (for example [2]) points to its entry in the Sources list. The numbers run in reading order, and every source listed is cited somewhere in the brief, so a teammate reading only the PDF can follow any claim back to the document it came from.

Email a lead brief

Use this to send the brief to yourself for later, or to a teammate you are handing the lead to.

  1. Click Export, then Email. The Email lead brief dialog opens.
  2. The Recipient email field is pre-filled with your own address. Leave it to email yourself, or replace it with a teammate's address.
  3. Optionally add a Note, a short message that appears at the top of the email above the brief.
  4. Click Send. You will see a confirmation once it is on its way.

The recipient gets the same brief you see, plus a View in Aithon link that opens the live lead. Replies go to your address.

Who you can send to

You can always email the brief to yourself. To send it to anyone else, the recipient must be a member of your organization in Aithon. If you enter an address that is not part of your organization, the send is blocked and the dialog shows Recipient is not a member of your organization.
