Deal Intelligence explained

What each tab on a deal shows, how the MEDDPICC scorecard and the deal health score are computed, how evidence is cited, and when analysis refreshes.

Last updated

Deal Intelligence turns a deal's conversations into an assessment you can act on. Open Deal Intelligence in the sidebar and choose a deal. Everything on the page is generated from your CRM record and the emails, calls and meetings linked to it, and every claim carries a citation you can open.

Before there is anything to show

A new deal shows a Generate insights button; the first run is yours to start. If your organization has no CRM connected, no mailbox connected, or the deal has no conversations yet, the page says exactly which of those is missing rather than showing an empty analysis.

The tabs

  1. Overview: the deal pulse (a headline and what changed), recommended next moves ranked with their rationale, risk signals with a severity, and missing information with why it matters and how to get it. You can add your own moves and risks alongside the generated ones.
  2. MEDDPICC: the qualification scorecard, below.
  3. Stakeholders: the people on the deal, their roles, and a search for more.
  4. Activity: the communication timeline, emails and calls and meetings, filterable by person, each opening in a drawer.
  5. News: account news and trigger events.
  6. Documents: files your organization uploaded for this deal.
  7. AWS Benefits: co-sell and funding, when your AWS account is connected.

The MEDDPICC scorecard

Eight dimensions, each scored from 0 to 100 from the conversations: metrics, economic buyer, decision criteria, decision process, paper process, identified pain, champion, competition. Each has a status dot (healthy, needs attention, at risk), the gap Aithon found, the evidence behind it, and a recommended next step. There is no manual override: the score reflects what the conversations show, and the way to change it is to have the conversation.

The deal health score

The number in the header is a read on deal progress, drawn from how the conversation with the customer is going. It is shown as one of three bands: Healthy, Needs attention or At risk. A deal you keep emailing into silence reads as cooling, because it is the customer's engagement that counts. If the score has not been refreshed recently the page tells you so.

Citations

Numbered markers sit right after the sentence they support. Hover to see the quoted passage and its source type; click to open the email or transcript in the drawer. Aithon never renders a citation it cannot open.

When it refreshes

After the first run, Aithon keeps the deal fresh on its own as new emails, calls and meetings arrive. While a run is in progress the page shows each step as it happens (reading emails and calls, retrieving evidence, writing) and which sections are done. If a run fails, your previous analysis stays on screen and a quiet retry is offered.
